Hi Everyone, I've been sending Thank You certificates to people and groups who helped contribute to our Software Freedom Day Celebrations. I have made a blank copy and uploaded it to the wiki Artwork page, so if anyone wants to use it too - they can! http://tinyurl.com/certificateofthanks It is SVG format - so can be edited in Inkscape, saved as PDF and emailed to people you wish to formally thank for their help or involvement. cheers Donna President Linux Users of Victoria -- Software Freedom Day 2009 http://www.softwarefreedomday.org/melb A world wide celebration of Free and Open Source Software Melbourne event at Melb PC Chadstone and the community behind it. 11am - 4pm, Saturday 19 September
Nice! Thanks a lot for the contribution(s). Maybe we should send you back the certificate with your name on it? ;-) Seriously, we're discussing about SFD 2010 plans at the moment (among other things) and one of the 'features' we'd like to have for next year (and starting asap) is an repositories of all things SFDs such as presentations, artworks, PRs and so on, with an easy to navigation, find and upload interface, as well as a translation section so we could start preparing SFD 2010 now and not next summer. We're currently listing our wishes at the moment, taking into consideration what we have received on this list and will prioritize based on available resources. So thanks everyone for your help and contributions. Fred Cat Scratch wrote:
