Pia, thank you for your kind response. Robert, I completly agree, this is the most logical and natural way to do it. I will be pleased to administering it. I believe that it is very important to have the list. There are many countries of Hispanic speech and although each country already have a channel of national communication, this list will be good to share ideas and experiences with the growth of the event as our goal. Because as of today, it is frankly incipient the participation of the community Hispanic speaker. If we work hard this year, the next one will be better. Since 2005 the FLISoL is carried out in Latin america (Latin American Festival of Free Sofware), participating hundreds of cities in more than twenty countries. It would be interesting to have two annual events (one in April and another in September) of massive diffusion and international integration. PreguntasLinux.Org has provided successfully support post installfest to the FLISoL, and we are willing to collaborate in the same way with the SFD. In fact, there is already a Spanish-speakers mailing list operating on the SFD server: http://mail.sf-day.org/lists/listinfo/planning-es
It was established during last year's SFD campaign, but had very low traffic. When we reorganised mailing lists earlier this year to create SFD-announce and SFD-discuss, this list was hidden but not deleted (the previous lists were called team-contacts, planning-en and planning-es).
One of our projects for the SFD "off season" - after 15 September this year - was to improve our multilingual capability by examining how which languages are most in demand among our participants.
Feel free to continue using the planning-es list, and if you are interested I would be happy to make you a list administrator.
Robert.

Fantastic! Please try to remember to cross post anything from either list which would be broadly helpful :):)
It was already talked with some of you, we think that a more fluent comunication will be reached on this way.
We strongly encourage it. Would you like a mailing list set up on the SFD website instead so that all the archives are together? Just an option for your decision :):)
Cheers, Pia
