This is an interesting debate, please do not position it on who has the best policy when it comes to publish photo, any exposure of DFI events on media is good, we need to make ourselves shown.

One other problem I would bring with Facebook is that they do face recognition on their pictures.

If Fred says certain sites are better than others, give it more
weight than your own opinion.  Fred/ SFDI & co. do good work
organising SFD internationaly, despite being partially obstructed
by the great censorship wall of China.  We owe them Not to make
their access harder.

They may not say which sites are blocked, & it will change, but if
you put data on www.some-random-small-domain.tr it's far more likely
he & others in censoring countries will not be blocked.

Insisting on putting your SFD stuff on
        www.major-usa-companies-some-countries-likely-censor.com
may well block access by international organisers.

If you will pander to facebook addicts too, put 1 or 2 photos there
with a clickable link to more at www.some-random-small-domain.tr

Cheers,
Julian
