As part of my preparations to the oncoming Software Freedom Day celebration here, at Altai State University (Barnaul, Altai Krai, Russia), I've prepared a leaflet, which could be called ``an A to Y of Free Software'', to be used as a give-away stuff, primarily targetted at newcomers. The leaflet contains a list of 25 Free Software products (for each of the English alphabet letters, excluding Z), each accompanied by an URL and a short annotation given in Russian, sometimes a bit humorous. The selection of the packages is rather arbitrary. I'd appreciate any comments, especially from the Russian language-speaking Free Software users, as I'm not yet sure about wording, typos, etc. I'd be especially glad to see any variants covering completely distinct sets of Free Software packages. http://waterlily.ip.uusia.org/~ivan/doc-files/a-y-freesoftware-2009/a-y-free... http://waterlily.ip.uusia.org/~ivan/doc-files/a-y-freesoftware-2009/a-y-free... -- FSF associate member #7257
