Hi all, The Portuguese package arrived today, and the stuff in it is, as expected, great. I was surprised with how well SFD's logo is with a brown background :-) A couple of suggestions to next years tho: 1) more care with the packaging: don't ask me "how to avoid it", but the transfer "sheets" got wrinkled, to the point of possibly danification of two of them (we'll try to transfer them anyway, but I'm not sure the result will be 100% nice), and the banner was so pressed against itself, and possibly was folded shortly after manufacture, so when I was unfolding it the paint in several sides was stuck together, with the result that, finaly unfolded, the banner isn't perfect in the colors (fortunately this affected the background, so it's no big deal); 2) regarding the documentation in the package, next time it would be nice to have included the documentation on "how to use the t-shirt transfers", or at least a link to the wiki page explaining that much. Also, it could be useful to explain in more detail the contents of the package (suggestions regarding how to use/give the shirts, talking about doing several sizes, which sizes to do the most...; suggestions regarding the use of the banner, maybe with pictures of inside and outside uses of SFD banners from previous editions; identification of the several elements of the package (so people can more easilliy recognize the transfers, I was expecting them, but if someone wasn't they could, for instance, mistake them with stickers); what to do with the DVDs (after all there's only one copy of each, what can people do with them?); ideas on how to use the stickers (for instance, if you're doing talks and presentations it would be nice to have paper notebooks and pens to give, but it might be more cost effective to buy simple notebooks and put the sticker there than to make SFD notebooks...). Well, now that we got the package, let's try the t-shirts and make a video :-) Thank you very much for the package and all the work around SFD, -- Marcos Marado ANSOL -- http://ansol.org
