Hi! We do have some space and could probably get more if needed, however this amount starts to become a problem when we're running backups and storing stuff "far away" as I live in China and the international bandwidth is very poor. We've also decided a while back (in 2010 I think) to avoid installing plugins on the wiki which tend to not be maintained over time. We used to have a photo gallery one, which got deprecated and killed all the teams photo galleries we had. So I'd say the wiki is ok to show a few photos to give a feeling of an event, but putting up a photo set is not going to render very well. Since we've moved to non FOSS providers such as Flickr, Picassa or whatever works for the team. I wish we could find something in the middle but as I also take care of the installation and maintenance I of course have a biased view on things. It's probably something we should work on when "we" have time, but again I have other things to do for the org which I consider more important (such as a better registration component which would allow teams to modify their data, a USB burning kiosk-kind of system, and a few other things). We currently have 50GB total and only 32GB is actually used by the VPS of which more than half is free I think. We also have a different sponsor for our Hong Kong and China related activities for the above reasons. I hope I gave you a better idea of how we're running and what could be possible. Thank you. Is there enough room on the SFD Wiki server to upload pictures and video?
I've got some 17 GBytes of raw video of the Kitchener SFD talks that I'll edit down to five 45 minute segments, and probably another few hundred images. Not sure how big it'll all be when it's done, and if there's no room on SFD I can always self-host it (but I'm Canadian so my broadband is slow).
Sadly, I don't think any of it will be done in time for the contest...

Dear Nermin,
Just getting back to that post of yours and wondering if you had the chance to get your volunteers to post those pictures?
My designer friend Umuthan is working for gallery.
If you like it, i can upload photos Google Plus.
Best Hey thanks!
G+ is also blocked where I live. I am a patient person so I don't mind waiting a bit to see the gallery on your site. Don't feel pressured at all :)
I still need to go through the hundreds of raw photo our photographer took on my end... :/ so you wouldn't be the only one lagging a bit.
Fred
