Welcome Agbayazon, it's great to read that sfd will be holding in Benin for the first time.
Looks like most western Africa will celebrate sfd this year :-)
I am from Nigeria and it will be my third time of celebrating SFD, so feel free to ask any question as you can be rest assured of getting a helpful response.

This is the first time I write on this list even though I am a long time subscriber.
Just notify you that I associate with my friends to create a new LUG (CotonouLug) in Cotonou, Benin.
I have already registered on the SFD web site.
We are actively preparing for the first time SFD in Benin for 21 September.
I am happy to belong to this group for the promotion of free software and will be happy to hear from you.

Hi!
First it would have been really nice if you created a new thread rather
than replying to one that has no relation with your post.
Second, if you followed either our blog on digitalfreedomfoundation.org,
the SFD planet or identi.ca or twitter then you would know that
pre-registration date has been pushed to end of the month.
Glad to see your problem has been fixed in the 2nd email (thanks for
it), we screwed up the 2013 page...as explained in this thread.
