Your team doesn't seem to be listed on the SFD team map http://www.softwarefreedomday.org/map/ and subscribing to the wiki updates I just saw you created your team wiki page. Best is to keep subscribed to the list and next year you'll be one of the first to know about registration opening. You should also fill out this form here http://www.softwarefreedomday.org/cgi-bin/register.py so people from Amman can find your event listed in our official listing. And last but not least you should update your wiki page to add some basic details about what will happen during your event and the exact location, time and date. This page is directly linked from the map and where people will look for more. All the best for SFD. Fred On 09/01/2012 04:54 PM, Ziad Maraqa wrote:
Dear Pockey, I have not received team packs. Dear all,
As you may know that all the SFD team packs have been shipped. Each team pack includes tshirts, balloons, stickers, a banner, DVDs and t-shirt labels. There is a how-to for the t-shirt labels, please refer to http://wiki.softwarefreedomday.org/TshirtLabels You may also apply these labels to any cloth e.g. table cloth.
We have done our best to send the same pack to all teams and hopefully you should get them on time for your event. However each year we always have delayed or lost packages, which are really out of our control. On the bright side, since the goodies are not year specific you can always use them later in the year or for SFD 2013 if you get them late.
All the best to your SFD preparation!
Regards, Pockey

Hello. Package arrived in Germany today. Great stuff (as always). The banner is lightly "sticky" and lost some color bits on unfolding, but thats OK. It'll look great. Since we shipped all the packages on the last week of August, it will take about 1 to 3 weeks to arrive the destination, while depends on the location you may expect the team pack to arrive around 10 September. If you registered before the deadline, provided a shipping address in the form, and haven't received your team pack on 10 September, please provide me a receiver name and your country so I can check the status for you, thanks!
