ok, so I looked at bit... and wasted 2/3 hours watching videos from some conferences hehe. I'm glad others came back with more suggestions so I don't feel pressured.

At the end I find the idea of Mediagoblin similar to getting an image plugin (well image+video now) without the risk of not being supported. I unfortunately couldn't find any API like the one we're using on our website for Flick'r, to display "the latest and greatest". Maybe I missed it so please don't hesitate to let me know... :)

In the meantime if anyone has more suggestion please feel free to continue the thread.
