Dear Ring (I hope I got your name right),
Here is how things currently work. One event has a team leader (please
don't tell me the same person can run 2 events at the time in different
places). That means you need to assign some responsibility to one of the
volunteers working together with you.
That person creates an account on the SFD wiki, register his event in
the proper location and fills the registration form. There are several
organizations in Latin America operating that way for example.
Each event is going to have different speakers/program. If the program
is the same the people running the show will be different (if not,
please tell me more).
The fact that the exact location is not yet know will be the last
remaining issue in the above process. You definitely must have an idea
of the whereabouts of your event, and that will be enough for the
initial registration. Once you have finalize the venue simply send me
the new coordinates off the list and I'll update the map. There is
currently no other way to update the location.
