Dear Enrique,

Unfortunately we are not able to ship anything else this year due to lack of funds. We're really sad about it, but there is not much we can do. What I would recommend is that you contact a local IT shop, or service company that is close to the topic of Free Software and ask them for a small sponsorship contribution.

In exchange they can either have a booth at your event, or have a speak (be careful to "control" the topic so it's not purely product advertising) or a logo on your banners/stickers/ T-shirts.

This is what we have been doing in Beijing since 2007 and it is working quite well.

Good luck with your event and don't hesitate to start a new thread if you need further assistance.

Fred

Dear all,

No you will not get individual prior notices. There are about 250 packages leaving from Europe this week and you should expect a phone call from the shipping company once they reach your country. You all know that shipping times vary from country to country and from time to time. Expect to get the call in 1-3 weeks I would say (being on the safe side).

Quantities are the quantities you requested as we were able to get enough CDs for everyone. Team who asked for more than 100 should get 150 pieces.

I hope that clarifies all the questions you may have had.

In the meantime we're continuing to improve the StartGuide, artworks, slogans, presentations and everything that could give you better ideas for your preparation. Don't hesitate to start discussion on the list about preparations and any related question you can think of.

Thanks and happy preparation!

Fred

Hi,

Will team leaders get some sort of prior notice about what all stuff is being shipped and in what quantity?

Hi!

I believe somewhere between one and two weeks. Shipping will happen this week which should give ample time for reception.

Thanks.
