A quick additional response to share my past experiences with such set up. When I was living in Beijing we were doing very similar things as the Beijing GNU/Linux User Group was providing speakers and organizational support to various locations/university. We would indeed tour the city on SFD and go delivery the same speeches in all places. We however had people on site (usually from the university) who were coordinating, making sure speakers would start on time, check signage so the audience could find the place, give information to attendees and do the speakers introductions/Q&A moderation. Those people are for me the team leaders: they are 'managing' their event logistic, calling speakers if they are not there yet (traffic? longer talk elsewhere than planned) and informing their audience. You do need such reliable people on site. What I would do is under the Dhaka page create additional FOSS bangadlesh event 1, 2 etc (please don't hesitate to be creative with the names) and register those events. You'll need different wiki accounts for the registration to validate. I hope that will be useful info to you. Fred On 08/30/2012 12:43 PM, সাজেদুর রহিম জোয়ারদার wrote:

Dear Ring (I hope I got your name right),
You got it absolutely right. :)
Here is how things currently work. One event has a team leader (please don't tell me the same person can run 2 events at the time in different places). That means you need to assign some responsibility to one of the volunteers working together with you.
Actually We r planning to arrange 3 event in 3 different area of Bangladesh on the 15th of September 2012. And I, personally visit to the every event in the event day and give my speeches on Software Freedom and it's necessity.
That person creates an account on the SFD wiki, register his event in the proper location and fills the registration form. There are several organizations in Latin America operating that way for example.
Every event will be organized by FOSS Bangladesh Team with the help of our volunteers.
Each event is going to have different speakers/program. If the program is the same the people running the show will be different (if not, please tell me more).
Partially right. Our events will have different speakers by the format and event plan will be the same and maintained centrally by FOSS Bangladesh.
The fact that the exact location is not yet know will be the last remaining issue in the above process. You definitely must have an idea of the whereabouts of your event, and that will be enough for the initial registration. Once you have finalize the venue simply send me the new coordinates off the list and I'll update the map. There is currently no other way to update the location.
I will inform you about the event locations when finalized.
Let me know if you have any problem/comment/question with the above.
Thanks.
Thanks for your cooperation. -- রিং/ring +8801671411437
