To be clear, the suggestion is that the CD we send doesn't contain any software: it will likely contain only music and video footage. Thanks everybody for your suggestions - keep them coming. It is very helpful for us to get an idea of what teams are looking for from us. Robert. On 11/06/07, Fabian Rodriguez <magicfab@member.fsf.org> wrote:

We can arrange for The OpenCD distribution locally, if absolutely necessary. What we are proposing instead is to send teams 1. One CD or DVD containing open source documentaries, interviews, music and any other open resources we can get hold of 2. A single copy of The Open CD, which can be replicated by teams if they wish to distribute this software 3. ...as well as the usual T-shirts and a few other little items!

We have produced an english transcript available as .SRT subtitle and a spanish translation of it. Other translations are being coordinated if anyone's interested: http://tinyurl.com/2lppw9
2. whether your team would have a problem using a DVD and you'd prefer a CD. In this part of the world (Quebec, Canada), many people are now used to DVDs, and most recent machines come wityh DVD readers. However CDs work for everyone. So I would say if you send a master DVD we could accomodate for reproduction of it.
