As one of the winners of this year contest, the SFD Nicaragua Team got a brand new XO laptop [1] (thank you guys!!!). The local Ubuntu community held a Barcamp for the occasion on December 29 where the community had an opportunity to test drive this amazing tool. You can find some photos in [2].
This month, on January 30 we'll be organizing the official presentation of the XO laptop in Nicaragua [3] with the Minister of Education and other top level governmental officers as special guests. I'll keep you updated on this.
