Thanks for your quick answer. For example, there is already a regional team for the country, Bangladesh (http://softwarefreedomday.org/teams/asia/bangladesh?action=show&redirect=teams%2Fasiaandmiddleeast%2Fbangladesh). Is it possible to create a new regional team for Bangladesh or join the team as a partner?
Great question! My first recommendation is to contact the team directly using the details on their page. If you still want to run your own event because you have a different audience or are in a different area, go for it! We had about 15 teams in Australia last year. We are a big spread out country so it makes sense to have more local events than a big regional event. Cheers, Pia -- Linux Australia http://linux.org.au/ "The future is here.
