You have to wash them separately in a bucket soaking overnight with laundry powder, then rise them thouroughly at least 2 to 3 times with clean water until all excess dye is gone, then dry them out on the line. After this process they are usually fine to go through the main wash with everything else in they need washing again in the future.

Not sure what the dye is made of, but if its vegetable based, a teaspoon of salt in the laundry usually stops the running. Sameer
