Hi Don,

I found a few resources, but it seems the software is always strongly tied to open hardware - and still in prototyping phases.

I found these results:

It appears these are non-invasive, so won't be measuring blood values (probably making them less reliable)

A lot will obviously depend on how technical you are and what level of tinkering you find acceptable.

I'm not at all familiar with the world of biomedical devices, but from what I understand, it's mainly a matter of being able to communicate with the device. If you have a blood glucose meter already, you could search for that brand and model combined with terms like "reverse engineering".

Have been trying to find what kind of sensor would be used to measure glucose levels in the blood. Couldn't immediately find a result for this, but maybe you can help me on that one. Once we have that, we can search further. What region are you from? This sounds like an interesting project to take on with people in a hackerspace.

Greetings,
Jurgen
