I think it's an excellent idea! I will hang out in IRC for sure on 17th Sept!

For languages, we can always prepare other languages SFD channels and start to promote the language channel in mailing list and sfd discuss mailing list of course e.g. sfd-"your language" e.g. #sfd-cn for chinese, #sfd-ru for Russian. What do others think?
