Hi! Thanks for the introduction, unfortunately all the packages have left and we can't produce just one package. Besides shipping also takes time, especially in India where depending of the point of arrival the customs officers can be a little demanding at times. Best is for you to stay subscribed to this mailing list or the SFD-announce list so next year you'll know in time. Locally you can as well try to find local sponsors to pay for t-shirts, decoration or whatever you feel appropriate. I believe the winning part is in making a serious budget and being transparent with the people supporting you. Hope that helps. Fred On 08/18/2013 06:28 PM, Avinash Sonawane wrote:
Sir,
We are bunch of hackers at Pune Institute Of Computer Technology (http://www.pict.edu) who believe in sharing, openness and world improvement.
Pune is the second largest IT hub in India (after Banglore) and we are happy to mention that HaCkD is the only team in whole Pune city to celebrate Software Freedom Day.
As we came to know about SFD a bit late, sadly we missed the deadline. But since we are just students and have no external source of income or sponsorship, it'll be really helpful if you send us the SFD kit. So that we can celebrate Software Freedom Day at our college in Pune and have a strong impact on folks at PICT who are mostly unaware of non-proprietary world.
We hope you'll take our request into consideration. Thank you!
