-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 It would be good to ship posters, even if folded. And the SVG or PDF source file idea is also good, especially for groups that are at more than one site. Best to make the posters without a specific year, so they can be used again at future SFD events. On 01/27/2013 07:00 AM, sfd-discuss-request@sf-day.org wrote:

Hi all,
It is time to talk about SFD 2013,since we received quite some good feedback for sfd banners, we are wondering if adding one or two big poster(s) would be useful for your SFD event.
In terms of size, it would be either A1: 570 x 870mm or A2: 570 x 420mm. One downside is that the poster will be folded into smaller size in order to fit inside the package so it may have a chance to arrive damaged as well. So it's good to hear your opinions to see if it's worth to try :-)
Regards, Pockey

That will be a good idea. The smaller banner I received last year came in one piece. Guess I take my chances with the bigger one ;-)

Hi! :-)
This is a nice idea, just a couple of suggestions: - you could try it, just printing olny one A1 or A2 poster, pack it into the standard package, and verify if it's ok - you could release the SVG or PDF source file, so people can print it by themselves
My 2 cents, Dario
