I looked up the SFD website today to see if I could sign up a local team but discovered there's not much 2010 info there yet. Then I noticed this discussion on the list and thought I'd join it.
The wiki is already up at wiki.softwarefreedomday.org and you can start entering information about your team and the event you're preparing.
Thanks, the new wiki looks great. :)
I created an account and logged but it's not at all clear where or how to register a team. Are there any instructions? There's a reference to a "StartGuide" but it just links to an empty page with a Chinese word. There's a "register" link on the menu but it doesn't seem to work either. And there don't appear to be any existing locations or teams that I can find. Am I missing something?
As I mentioned previously the registration script is still not up (and not all pages have been copied over. The old wiki is still available in read only mode on www.softwarefreedomday.org is you miss some of the information previously available) but you can already create your wiki page following the structure below:
YEAR/CONTINENT/COUNTRY/CITY-REGION/TEAM
A lot of Countries have been created already. We'll announce as soon as the official registration opens.
So, is the registration officially open? -- ## Przemysław Kulczycki <<=>> Azrael Nightwalker ## # Jabber/XMPP/Gtalk/Tlen ID: azrael[na]jabster.pl # # (Co to jest? Zobacz na: http://jabberfaq.info ) # ## www: http://reksio.ftj.agh.edu.pl/~azrael/ #####
