Is there enough room on the SFD Wiki server to upload pictures and video? I’ve got some 17 GBytes of raw video of the Kitchener SFD talks that I’ll edit down to five 45 minute segments, and probably another few hundred images. Not sure how big it’ll all be when it’s done, and if there’s no room on SFD I can always self-host it (but I’m Canadian so my broadband is slow).
I’ve got some 20 GiB on a location in USA which I do not currently use. However, I’d hesitate to host any material that is /not/ free (e. g., CC BY-SA.) If the licensing terms aren’t overly restrictive, I could probably host the files. Unfortunately, I cannot promise a Web player for the videos (unless these are in a suitable format for an HTML5-based one), though I could probably install some kind of a gallery on the host. (Preferrably a “static” one, such as one of [1–6].) To note is that there are also paid file hosting services, such as Rackspace “Cloud Files,” which seemed cheap enough the last time I’ve used it.
