Yes, Mozilla seems to be standards compliant and extensions friendly sometimes :-)
I fixed the download page (and redesigned part of the home page while being at it). I hope it works better now.

Indeed they are :) I maintain just my personal web site but I have gone through the process of validating my HTML and CSS sheets using the validators at w3c.org.
