dillo-3.0.3-rc1 available
Hi all, finally there is a first release candidate for the upcoming 3.0.3 release available: http://www.dillo.org/download/dillo-3.0.3-rc1.tar.bz2 Please give it a try on as many platforms as possible. It would be cool if package maintainers could also give their feedback. Cheers, Johannes
Hi.
Please give it a try on as many platforms as possible.
I compiled and ran it on Debian Squeeze and Scientific Linux 6 without problems. Even the installation of the hyphenation pattern files works fine on these operating systems. However, there is no remark about the installation of the hyphenation pattern files in README or INSTALL. Since some users might not know this new feature, I guess many will not install the pattern files. So, I recommend to add an example call of `dillo-install-hyphenation' to the "Dillo 3" section in README. Best, Alex

sorry for the late feedback.

... also builds and works fine on Debian Unstable. Will wait for the final 3.0.3 release for the upload to Debian (either unstable or experimental, not yet sure, as we are in deep freeze for the upcoming Debian 7.0 Wheezy release). dillo-3.0.3-rc2 is ready for testing [1]. OK, we've added some comments and minor fixes. This is rc1 with a few minor polishes. Mainly info for packagers on theme setting and domainrc. Most probably rc2 will become 3.0.3 (unless the Pandora port bug turns out to be a generic problem, or a new show stopper arises). So far things look calm and Ok. Please test again and send your feedback. [1] http://www.dillo.org/download/dillo-3.0.3-rc2.tar.bz2 -- Cheers Jorge.-

Is there any feedback on rc2 ?! I looks like everything went OK, but I'd prefer some confirmation... TIA. -- Cheers Jorge.-
