re: Anti-aliasing patch for dillo-0.7.3 available

Please, could you also tell us what you have changed besides adapting the patch to 0.7.3?
There were almost no changes from your patch, aside from "src/Makefile.in" where I changed LIBS = @LIBS@ to LIBS = @LIBS@ -lXft2 -lXrender -lfontconfig so that it would correctly link on my machine. There might have been an additional instance of gdk_text_width that I changed to gdk_text_width_xft but that's it. Thanks again for your patch. Will this make it in to the next version of dillo ?

OK, thanks. (I asked only because I was considering using your patch instead of mine.)
Thanks again for your patch.
Well, I think I should credit someone actually, but I don't even remember the author of the original patch...

I have been wondering for a while... =)

Sorry for not having answered before (it was on my long list of pending tasks). When reviewing the patch I noticed that it'd be very difficult to incorporate the patch and remain easy to install through the wide range of platforms we support. The alternative is to add a configuration switch, but considering that anti aliasing will come from GTK+2, I think is better to let the interested pepople to grab your patch. I owe you a link from [Project notes] or similar. BTW, It'd be really good to know who was the original author. Cheers Jorge.-

Sounds reasonable, thanks for the response.

I did a quick search, it must be Tor Andersson. Greetings :-)
