Hi List, First of all. This is a very interessting and good projekt. Thanks to all the developers. Second: henrik.baastrup@eds.com wrote some code for 0.6.6 to enable dillo for doing proxy auth. Today I grabbed the 0.7.1 Version and build it. Sadly I realized that I had to patch it myself again. Now that it's working again is someone of the development team interessed in adding the code to the cvs?! Please say yes ;) an contact Henrik Baastrup, please. -rwx------ 1 me me 278560 Apr 8 17:05 src/dillo* ^^^^^^ unpatched -rwx------ 1 me me 279296 Apr 8 16:31 src.p/dillo* ^^^^^^ patched Greetings Daniel -- "Those who desire to give up Freedom in order to gain Security, will not have, nor do they deserve, either one." --Thomas Jefferson

I contacted Henrik sometime ago, and he sent me an updated version of the patch. The problem is that authentication is a part of HTTP-1.1 and Dillo uses HTTP-1.0, so it needs some more thinking to make it fit reliably. If someone here is willing to investigate the side-effects of intermixing the protocols, and how to handle it reliably (probably plus a a projection of more HTTP-1.1 extenssions), please write me back to coordinate it. Cheers Jorge.-
