I used to complain that drawing the text selection was desperately slow when I dragged the mouse across the contents of a table with two columns and very many rows. Today I suddenly realised that this hadn't bothered me for a while, so I checked the problem page and indeed the selection now draws itself as fast I can drag the mouse.
