
HTTP/1.1 has warning headers to tell you things like "110 Response is stale" or "214 Transformation applied". There should probably be some mechanism to actually notify the user properly -- nobody's ever going to notice an MSG_HTTP string. As was the case with the "100 Continue"s some time ago, I am not encountering genuine ones to test against. I just tested by letting it treat date headers as warnings...
