Please send your reports on testing 0.8.4-rc1 ASAP. I wish to release it by Tuesday if possible. Otherwise, it seems I'll have to make a security-fix-release first and then the official 0.8.4.
So far rc1 has passed flawlessly the testing process.
Compiles and launches OK on a playstation2. Some incompatibilities with https (on amazon & yahoo groups) which I think are due to having the old 0.8.3 bits about. I was waiting for (the usual) rc2 before I tried to claim 'parents-rights' on the machine, for a conclusive test! -- robert w hall
