so if dillo can be embedded in sylpheed, why cant dillo be embedded in dillo?
<to support frames> I have hacked dillo a bit to support frames (don't hold your breath, it's far from being usable and even further from clean code). The "dillo embedded in istelf"-idea crossed my mind, too. If you do that you spawn unnecessary processes. Also, you have to be really careful about tracking history (the back button still needs to work somehow). Also, the target tag needs to work - that would probably be only a minor problem. Those were just some ideas ... I may be wrong. But right now I hack around to put a_Interface_browser_window_new into an existing window. But, on the one hand, a_Interface_browser_window_new probably needs to be modified or cloned and on the other hand I know too little GTK I'm afraid :-) Just if anybody cares :-) ..... If I was certain I could get somewhere, I would have added myself into the bug tracking engine.
